LETTER TO VA SECRETARY
Dear Mr. Shulkin,
I watched a recent press conference where you vowed to combat veteran suicides, making it your office’s “number one clinical priority.”
I am a medical doctor with a specialty in family medicine. Over the last few years, SecondClassCitizen.org and I have done extensive research on veteran suicides. We have very important information on how to prevent these. Prevention starts with causation. The following page explains the number one cause of the increased rate of suicides among veterans, and where to start to prevent these suicides: http://www.votefamily.us/stop-war-veterans/
We would like to put our knowledge and experience in the subject for the service of our veterans, and hopefully, bring down the suicide rate to zero, as you pledged in your interview. Thanks for your time and attention.
